In a surprising crossover event that breaks traditional forecasts, the game developer has revealed an virtual partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected Thanksgiving event operates from November 25 through December 22, offering no-cost extra story content for Shadows players.
Peculiar Adventure Disclosed
According to the formal release, "A mysterious meeting leads heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a original adventure, where whispers of forbidden ceremonies and fearsome metamorphoses echo through the shadows." The narrative presents a "oddly dressed woman named Ada" who charges the pair with journeying into the Crystal Cave—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to save her companion from a hidden cult.
The mission centers on "strange trials and a fearsome enemy" and is accessible to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.
Familiar Settings and Changes
The teaser highlights the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This important location was previously where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through eras. The preview concludes with a powerful scene showing a character, likely the prisoner, morphing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.
